“Norland teacher Glenda Moton taught the Freshman Experience,’ elective and spoke regularly with her students. Her students told Moton stories of gang violence, depression, death, drugs and dysfunction in the family unit. Then, Norland students wrote the stories about their lives that are now published in the complication book, “iRead, iThink, iWrite.”
